About the studio
What is ArtLab
A studio where you paint with a pendulum, by pouring paint or with darts and paint-filled balloons. You need no talent or experience – the result is always striking.
During a private hire the studio is closed to the public – it is all yours, including instructors, equipment and protective overalls.
Techniques
Techniques you will try
You can usually try several techniques in one session and combine them however you like.
SpiralArt
You guide the pendulum's swing with your own movement – the result is a colourful spiral that looks like a seashell.
Pop-BalloonArt
Paint-filled balloons are fixed to the canvas and you aim darts at them. The loudest part of the evening.
PouringArt
Mix, pour and layer paint straight onto the canvas. It creates a marble effect that is different every time.
FreestyleArt
Paint, print, let the colours drip or splash them around – no rules.
Shared canvas
Instead of individual paintings, the whole group can create one large piece for the office. From 100 × 100 cm.
Prices
How the price is calculated
The price has two parts: studio hire based on time, and a package per person based on canvas size.
1. Studio hire
Hire is charged in blocks. A block = painting time + 30 minutes of set-up before + 30 minutes of clearing up after. The minimum is one hour of painting, i.e. a two-hour block.

Blocks are billed by the half hour: each half hour (including set-up and clear-up) is charged at the rate it falls into. If your event starts off-peak and ends at peak time, each part is charged at its own rate.

2. Package per person
Each package includes a canvas and a credit for cups of paint. The credit is shared by the whole group – those who paint more can use the cups of those who paint less.

Prices are shown excluding VAT at 21%. Amounts including VAT are indicative and rounded to whole crowns – private events pay the price including VAT; companies are invoiced excluding VAT.
Good to know
Extra paint
Once the group has used up its credit, each extra cup costs CZK 65 (CZK 79 incl. VAT), paid on site by card. Want peace of mind? For an extra CZK 250 per person (CZK 490 for the XL package) you get unlimited paint.
Shared painting
Shared pieces start at 100 × 100 cm. Each shared canvas costs CZK 1,200 (100 × 100 cm) or CZK 2,000 (160 × 160 cm), plus CZK 690 per person. A larger group can split across several canvases – for example 25 people on 5 paintings.
Group size
The minimum is 5 people and the studio holds up to 30 for a private event. Painting usually takes 60 to 180 minutes, depending on canvas size and the number of techniques.
Small groups off-peak
Groups of up to 8 on Monday to Thursday or in the morning do not need to pay block hire – a private slot is enough: 8 entries plus packages per person.
Brno costs less
The Brno studio has its own, lower price level – hire there is always charged at the off-peak rate, whatever the day or time.
After painting
Paintings take 5 to 7 days to dry. You can then collect them from the studio or we can send them to you – delivery is charged separately at our standard rates.

Studio hire here is at the lower price level all week.
